Will was approached by Betty TV to team up with George Clarke  in Episode 4 of the Channel 4 series, Ugly House to Lovely House. 

aLL Design and Alsop worked with Tammy and Stuart to redesign their outdated bungalow. Whatever charm the property might have had had been wiped out over the years by a series of ill-conceived extensions and cosmetic updates which left the main living rooms completely starved of light.

Will designs a dramatic barrel vault roof extension to the rear of the bungalow with bespoke exposed curved beams, a shiny aluminium roof and four porthole windows. The design differs to the surrounding properties and it uses materials ordinarily seen in large-scale industrial buildings, adapting these to a small-scale and detailed specification.

The interior has an industrial feel; metallic finishes and large bi-fold doors with views out to the garden. The kitchen units are free-standing, the lighting subtle and seating areas varied.
