Reading Pod

The Reading Pod is inspired by nature; its spiky conker-like exterior contains a cosy reading space, large enough to hold two people, it mimics a small, free-standing tree house.

Constructed primarily from timber, it stands on steel legs that can be of any colour, dependent on its context, several pods dotted around a landscape could add a myriad of colours.

Initially designed for a park the pod would sit comfortably in any landscape, its bold, exploding form would make it a fun edition to the streetscape.
