aLL Design

aLL Design were approached by Redco in 2020 to lead the design for a competition to design 14 schools in Qatar.

aLL Design created a system of pre-fabricated modules based around a 9m grid. These modules provide a catalogue of different pedagogical spaces. Using this catalogue we can select the necessary modules to assemble individual schools. Using these repeatable elements in different proportions and arrangements the specific needs of each school can be met.

By mixing in a few faceted and organic modules to create focal points, a high quality and individual character can be created for each school while mainly using standardised elements.
