Our work to master-plan a new town centre for Purfleet included consideration of street furniture. Designed to enhance the urban landscape and encourage community interaction, with a style that would recur throughout the neighborhood, the Purfleet table was developed by the team from Will Alsop’s initial sketches.

Fabricated in cast iron covered with an anti-rust nylon material that looks and behaves similar to CorTen. Bronze surface inlays connect the modules and small circular lights are inserted along the centre of each module, allowing for an atmospheric evening picnic.
